ATHEIST SOCIETY OF CALGARY

Each year ASC participates in Calgary's Pathway and River Cleanup on the first Sunday in May. Our volunteers remove litter along our city's river bank, then meet at a local establishment to share fellowship.

ASC is currently setting up a committee to sponsor a refugee who has fled their home country because of their atheist beliefs. If you are interested in participating in this group, please contact us at info@atheistcalgary.com

ASC has partnered with the Caring for Alberta Highways program to adopt a 3 kilometer section of highway. We are responsible for cleaning our area once a year. Check on Meetup for the next date.

ASC and the Calgary Secular Assembly have partnered with Canadian Blood Services to donate blood at least twice a year. Donating on your own? Register as part of the ASC group and show that atheists care! Check Meetup for our next donation date.

The Calgary Secular Assembly is a partner of ASC, and is a community devoted to encouraging ethical living, personal growth and respect for free and well-informed thought. They offer a monthly Sunday Focus meeting and a monthly pub night. Check out their website for more information.

The Atheist Society of Calgary strives to make a positive contribution to our community. Check our "Upcoming Events" page to find dates for some of our community service initiatives.
